iPad finally released

The Apple iPad finally made its way into the hands of consumers this weekend.

Apple stores across the nation were buzzing with excitement and loaded with consumers hoping for a chance to hand the new device.

Though the device certainly had its fair share of naysayers, it seems to have silenced many critics. Numerous tech blogs and tech magazines are giving it glowing reviews and hundreds of insiders were deeming it revolutionary before it even came out.

Certainly some of the criticisms concerning the lack of Flash were silenced earlier this week when Hulu and Netflix offered iPad applications designed to work specifically for the device.

Of course, only time will tell how much the product lives up to the hype around it.
